"CISTEC was invited to present the recent activities at the Fifth Asian Senior-level Talks on Non-Proliferation (ASTOP-V)"
The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the Fifth Asian Senior-level Talks on Non-Proliferation (ASTOP-V) on Friday, April 25th, at Mita House, Tokyo. Senior government officials in charge of non-proliferation policies from the ASEAN member countries, and Australia, Canada, China, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, the United States, and Japan, the host, attended the meeting.
In the afternoon session, Hiroshi Nakao, Deputy General Manager of Export Services Department, Center for Information on Security Trade Control (CISTEC) gave a presentation on "Recent Activities of CISTEC", which focused on the CISTEC activities to support for Japanese Industry. In particular, the cooperation with the industry drew much attention from the officials.
