JAIST on the 17th Asian Export Control seminar
The Japan Association of International Security and Trade (JAIST) participated in
the 17th Asian Export Control Seminar held in Tokyo, from 26th to 28th January,
2010. JAIST set its session as “Theme 7: An Interaction session with Japan Association of International Security and Trade” at the third day.
After the keynote speech, four of JAIST panelist made presentations on respective
thema as seen in the program given below and positively discussed and exchanged
the views on the subjects with Seminar participants. I believe that JAIST session
stimulated the concerns of seminar participants and contributed to the promotion of export controls in Asia.
Taking these opportunities, we would like to
advance our international activities further.
In concluding the session, Dr. Masahiko
Asada, President of JAIST,who participated
in the Seminar as Panel of Experts, Security
Council Resolution 1874(2009), expressed
his gratitude to all the participants.
